Although you can edit the HTML directly, or use the formatting tools on the editor toolbar, I find that my posts look best when I keep my formatting very simple. Here are the rules I use:
- I never change the font or the font size. Instead, I let the template style sheet control the look and feel of my pages. The templates were designed by professional artists, and their selections usually look a lot better than those I make.
- I do use the bold, italic, and bulleted control on the toolbar to create lists or add emphasis to my text.
- If I want a subheading, I just use normal sized text and make it bold
- I use two blank lines between paragraphs.
