You can name your blog anything you like. I named this blog, for instance, Blog This! Using Blogs in your Class. That's different than the Web address or URL, however. You'll have to come up with a unique Web address for your blog.
The easiest way to do that is to use the name of the class that you're creating the blog for. I, for instance, have blogs named CS111Announce.blogspot.com and CIS223Announce.blogspot.com. If I need a special blog only for a semester, I often just tack on the semester and year, like CIS223S07.blogspot.com.
